We went up to Pinecrest one summer and tried to sail in this absolutely frigged water. It wasn't that windy so I figured we would be just fine. OH, NO. Dad finds the first real gust and manages to capsize the boat. Wonderful, I'm floating in this water, absolutely freezing, while we struggle to right the sailboat again. Eventually we got back to shore to dry off and warm up. I think my dad lost a sandal and some sunglasses. I just lost my dignity. That is why I won't sail with my dad again. I love you Dad, but I'll sail in my own boat from now on!

Great pics. What a wonderful trip! Glad you got back on the road safely. So sorry for your loss. You'll miss Chief. I visited Nova Scotia about 40 years ago and have wanted to return ever since. That's on my list when my wife Marilyn and I find the right bus. We recently drove to Nashville and Oklahoma City looking at buses. We're planning a trip soon to WA state to look at another.
